Oregon's sri yantra. A gift of the Circle Makers

As you may know, Eastern Oregon was Gifted with the Sri Yantra Mandala Formation in August 1990. It arrived in a dry wilderness lake bed east of Steens Mountain, and consisted of 13.3 MILES of lines, each 10" wide and scored to a depth of 3 inches in the hardpan. The graphic below is the Sri Yantra, and the Pattern discovered in the dry earth was identical in all respects.

Four jokers claimed it - the joke was that they alleged they pulled a 'garden cultivator' like a plow for OVER 13 MILES, in an officially designated Wilderness Area, in the August desert heat - where not even cars are permitted. They concocted the story that they hauled all their gear 3/4-mile to the site each day. (It turned out that that was one of many discrepancies in their story, for they'd allegedly told a sergeant from the Air National Guard that their campsite was actually two miles from the Formation.) A second discrepancy: In their initial 'confession letter' to the newspaper they wrote that all four of them were hitched up simultaneously to pull the cultivator, but the video shows only two of them attempting to pull it. Another one I found of interest is the apparent major exertion seen to be required to gouge a thin 1/2"-deep line into the earth (as seen in the video) Vs that needed to create a trench 10" wide and 3" deep - apparently without effort, according to the same video. (The reason the 'real' line was easy to dig out is because it was already there - they had apparently filled in the trench with the soft dirt, and hoped to give the illusion that they were digging the furrow with their plow.) These 'variations', as well as various others, stretched my own and others' credibility well beyond believability. One can reasonably conclude that the only creativity these four expressed was through their over-active imaginations and not through any grand desert artistry.

Interestingly, the skies above the Sri Yantra are regularly used as part of the Idaho Air National Guard's pilot training area. According to the lieutenant pilot who first spotted the huge Pattern on August 10, no pilots had reported a design-in-progress; the Pattern had simply 'appeared' one day

An Activation of Third Eye

An activated Third Eye is the most coruscating jewel of one's life. In this centre finds expression all achievements of life be they spiritual or material. Wealth, fame, conveyances, luxuries or success in business, examinations and trials of life can these all be obtained without the surge of confidence and willpower that rises from within? In fact it is this inner feeling of "you shall make it" that propels one towards the top most rungs of success.
But to most this energising source of divine motivation remains elusive, for there is no one in their lives who could link them to it. They are not even aware of all the powers that lie hidden in their own mind and soul.
Diksha is the flambeau that dispels the overpowering and disillusionment instilling darkness of ignorance. It is the magic wand wielded only by few highly enlightened Masters that in an instant raises one from the depths of misery to the heights of glory.
Diksha is linking oneself to the divine river of Super Conscience that flows within, from which not just pearls of higher intelligence are obtained, rather the music, the rhythm, the dance, the melody of life all become perceivable.
Dive into this divine Ganges and enjoy yourself!

Way To Success In Sadhana

Just as beating of the heart is a continuous process similarly Sadhana too is an unceasing practice through which various capabilities can be gained and several tasks can be accomplished.
Most important ingredients of Sadhana are devotion and faith, without which Sadhana is nothing more than a body without a soul. If a Sadhak tries to perform a Sadhana just to test it or to meet his selfish ends, he seldom obtains success in his efforts.
Hence full faith and devotion in the Guru, who guides you onto the path of enlightenment, is a must. The only thing you have to do is to catch hold of his finger which he has so kindly offered you and let him lead you on towards prosperity and fame.
When a Sadhak acquires such a faith and devotion he is invariably able to concentrate in meditation and thus attains success in Sadhanas.

Janmna Jayate Shudra (Everyone Is Born Ignorant)

Next important factors which affect success in Sadhanas are actions and thoughts of the Sadhak. There must be harmony between these and the Sadhak should take care to keep both his actions and thoughts within the precincts of social and moral rules.
By birth every human is said to be Shudra (I.e. he is uncultured, and uneducated) and it is only the Sanskars (upbringing), he is subjected to, which build up his personality. Only good actions and thoughts light the torch of true knowledge and it is only through them that one progresses on the path of truth and success.
According to Upnishads the daily prayer of Sadhak should be -

Let everyone remain happy.
Let everyone be healthy and disease-free.
May everyone progress on the path of spiritual enlightenment.
May no one suffer from sorrows.

Such noble thoughts on your part shall raise you to higher spiritual and human planes and thus your mental powers shall go on increasing.
In the field of Sadhanas devotion to the Guru is most important. Through dedication and by obeying all commands of the Guru a person gains spiritual and moral strength which initiates him onto the path of Sadhanas.
According to the text "Sharda Tilak" only a person who has same unwavering faith in the Guru as he has in God is able to realise Supreme Truth, and all subtle secrets of the spiritual world are revealed to him.

Powers of the Guru instil determination in the Sadhak, always keep showering upon him kindness of the Guru and each moment provide him with courage and support. Thus even in adverse situations such a Sadhak does not become perturbed, for he knows that due to his true devotion and faith in the Guru, his problems shall get solved all by themselves. The ancient texts, Shastras, clearly state that sins of the previous births can be absolved in present life only through devotion in the feet of Guru. A Sadhak, who wishes to achieve Siddhi (divine accomplishment) in the field of Sadhanas, should always follow the directions given by his Guru.

It is not the work of a Sadhak to analyse actions of a Guru, his only duty is to obey the Guru's command without any hesitation. He should follow the path shown to him by the Guru and if he is not able to remain in active service of the Guru he should present himself before him at least once in a year.

Diksha Is A Must

Most important feature of the practice of Sadhana is diksha. Diksha is a process of initiation into the field of Sadhanas, in which the spiritual Master transfers his own divine powers into body and soul of the disciple through Shaktipaat (transfer of divine energy).
In fact all ancient Indian texts have expounded the essentiality of Diksha in the field of Sadhanas. There have been several instances when Sadhaks could not obtain success in Sadhanas as they had not obtained Guru Diksha. And the moment they did so, all spiritual attainments devolved upon them automatically!

When a disciple, a Sadhak, obtains Diksha his soul becomes consecrated and he is then able to concentrate in meditation. When such a Sadhak performs Sadhana the Guru always remains present before him in an invisible or apparent form, and if the Sadhak commits some mistake in the Sadhana procedure divine powers of the Guru themselves rectify it and thus success in Sadhana is assured. A Guru always thinks of the good of a Sadhak and through Diksha he showers upon the disciple his powers, his blessings and his benevolence. Hence a person who wishes to progress on the path of Sadhanas should surely obtain Diksha.

Before commencing the Sadhana practice, the Sadhak should meditate upon the form of one's Guru and should worship him. It does not matter whether he gives Diksha to you individually or in a group, what is important is that each person should go to a Sadguru and obtain Diksha from him. Chanting of the Mantra, called Jap, is also an indivisible part of the Sadhana practice. This is in fact a scientific process which affects us spiritually as well as mentally and it bestows upon the Sadhak determination and courage to move forward on the path of Sadhanas.

Sadhaks who chant a Mantra given to them by the Guru are not affected by any obstacle which might present during the course of Sadhana. Through Jap subtle changes occur in the body and soul of the Sadhak which lead him from darkness to enlightenment, from weakness to power, from death to immortality, from disillusionment to hope and from the finite to the infinite. Through Jap all obstacles of life are removed, the Sadhak gains mental strength and even impossible tasks are easily accomplished. Through chanting of Mantras or Jap one is able to exercise control over one's breathing and thus lifespan of the Sadhak increases. Chanting a Mantra again and again is Jap and it means vanquishing all sins, and liberation from the cycle of life and death.

This is the true path of attaining Siddhi (divine accomplishment). Chanting can be done in mind or by speaking out the Mantra loudly and clearly. When a Sadhana is performed for the accomplishment of a particular task then the chanting is called Kamya Jap. Through the chanting of Mantras related to supernatural forces of Gods\Goddesses, they are invoked to get task of the Sadhak accomplished.

Indivisible Parts Of Sadhana

Just as for proper functioning of a machine each of its parts should be in perfect condition, similarly for attaining success in Sadhanas its indivisible parts like Yantra, rosaries and other materials of worship are essential.
A Yantra is a special inscription on paper or copper plate which contains mystic figures, numbers and Mantras. Each Sadhana requires a different, distinct Yantra and rosary.Yantra pertaining to a particular deity, is made in a specific way and each such Yantra has different inscriptions on it. During Sadhana, Yantra acts both as a transmitter and receiver. When the Sadhak chants Mantras a very strong vibration is produced which strikes the Yantra placed before him. The Yantra amplifies this vibration a thousand times over and it is broadcasted into the ether all around with a great power. These amplified waves travel across space and time and reach the deity or cosmic force being worshipped.

They strike the deity and gather divine powers, blessings and enlightening energy from it. Then they are reflected back to the Sadhak.Once again they strike the Yantra, are amplified and imbibed by the Sadhak's body and soul. Thus in this manner the divine energy is transmitted to the Sadhak through the medium of Yantra. The articles required in a Sadhana should be obtained from a reliable source. If even a single article is unauthentic all efforts of a Sadhak shall go in vain.

The Sadhak should have undaunting determination and will-power with which even adverse situations can be made favourable. In such situations if a Sadhak has full faith, devotion, concentration, correct method of chanting, a sacred place for Sadhana, patience and blessings of the Guru, then no one can stop him from attaining Siddhi in Sadhanas.

Activation of Third Eye

This whole world and all events occurring in it are part of a perpetual cycle. An invisible wheel keeps revolving and due to this unceasing motion the day dawns, the night sets in and next day the sun rises again. A child is born, it becomes young, grows old and dies, and is born once again to repeat the same cycle.

The cycle of seasons, the rise and fall of various world powers and the changes occurring in this world and the universe, all force one to believe that some invisible hand is constantly guiding all actions taking place.
Devotees contemplate on it with full faith, while the scientists try to analyse it through the medium of logic. And ultimately even science has to believe in the presence of some invisible force and it refers to this energy as a product of fusion-fission of atoms.

Gyanganj - A Realm Beyond Science

But science too has to bow down before this force which we call Gyan or true knowledge. Even the most dynamic of all physicists and the Nobel prize winner Albert Einstein, in his last days accepted that the Indian Yogis had ages ago achieved all that, and much more than what he had done in his life time. In those last days he had come to know about the divine land of Yogis, Siddhashram, and with much repentance he had accepted that if he had more years to live he would surely have attempted to reach Siddhashram.

And these words coming from such a giant of modern science created waves of astonishment in the scientific world. Proud scientists had to bow down before the infinite spiritual knowledge of India. Gyan or true knowledge can be gained only through humbleness; for if one resorts to critical analysis even in this field then what shall set it apart from science?

It is only through the powers of this knowledge that this whole world and this universe remains in a state of natural balance.

Not only the revolving of planets, not only the change of seasons but all actions like the present deluge of vices and immorality, downfall of Dharma, communal violence and unrest in the name of religion, are being curbed and controlled by this invisible force of which Gyan forms the true basis.

And the centre of origination of this force is the centre of all spiritualism present in this world which has been called Gyanganj (the divine hermitage) or Siddhashram by Indian spiritual texts.

The Cycle Of Time

Propagation of spiritualism does not mean decadence of materialism as most of the religions preach. Rather religion or Dharma ought to play the role of keeping a perfect balance between materialism and spiritualism, for this is what religion is for!

And to make the people realise the true objective behind every religion of this world, highly elevated Yogis, sages, saints and seers are sent time to time from Siddhashram to spread enlightenment - Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad the list is endless.

Most amazing thing about the manifestation of such divine men is that after every 2500 years a dynamic personage appears who is later worshipped as God. 2500 years after Lord Ram, Krishna was born, 2500 years after Lord Krishna, Buddha was born and after another 2500 years now ...

What is the significance of this particular, time span?

Surely there must be some secret behind this perpetual cycle. And what role has the nature to play in it?

Several Sadhaks have tried to unravel this mystery keeping in mind this fact but one finds the only authentic solution in a Shlok once spoken by the great sage Vishwamitra. He said - After every 2500 years the planets form a unique configuration in different zodiac signs, and then a divine soul appears in human form taking birth as humans do.

Vishwamitra has further explained this fact with the help of a natal chart in one of his texts. And many Pundits of modern times have studied Vishwamitra's work.

And according to this study the same similarities which one finds in natal charts of Rama, Krishna and Buddha, are seen in the natal chart of Gurudev

Dr. Narayan Dutt Shrimali.

Such extraordinary semblance in the natal charts indeed very remarkable in itself, although for the disciples of Gurudev it is no new revelation, for they have been witness to several divine forms of Gurudev as a world renowned astrologer, as the greatest scholar of Tantra and Mantra, as an extraordinary exponent of Ayurved and numerous other forms.

A Divine Soul In Human Form

A natal chart is a sort of mirror image of a person through which all features of his personality can be revealed. But when Gurudev's life is itself a true, radiant reflection of his personality then why should we resort to other methods to know about him?

Well, we know all about Gurudev but there are these so-called logic based thinkers who believe only in solid proof. And hence it becomes necessary to put before them words of the Shastras and clues laid down in the ancient texts to help recognise such great souls.

A spiritual person believes only in the voice of his soul while material men look for evidence outside. And those who have succeeded in listening to the words of their conscience by coming close to Gurudev have realised that he is a divine soul present here in human form.

And it is a well known fact that such great souls remain like simple humans in this society. Lord Buddha never kept a distance from the common man. In fact to achieve this closeness he left all his wealth and his kingdom.

Lord Krishna spent his days with the common folk of Gokul and lived like an ordinary cowherd.

Those who keep a distance or speak only from high platforms can be leaders not Gurus. One more question which pervades the mind is: What is the significance of incarnation of a great soul after every 2500 years?

Do they make appearances just to initiate new religious cults or to destroy evil and reinstate religion to its real position?

Whenever there is a downfall of religion God shall appear in human form and shall not only preach spiritualism to the common man but shall also introduce him to practical aspect of spiritualism, which is the process of activation of Aagya Chakra, through awakening of the Kundalini Shakti, present in every person.
This is a fact that the Kundalini of our ancestors used to be activated and when they were reborn they could remember their previous lives by the time they reached an age of ten-twelve years. It is but a well established truth that an awakened Kundalini Shakti remains in such a state even in the next birth.

Thus due to a link between two consecutive births there remained no tensions or problems in the lives of our ancestors.

Nowhere do we find written that the Aryans were ever poor, sorrowful or miserable. Everywhere we find portrayal of the Aryans as a happy, handsome and healthy race. And this achievement was result of the activation of Aagya Chakra, or the Third Eye.

Activation of the Aagya Chakra not only denotes acquiring the power to know about one's past and future, rather it is a process to initiate totality into one's life.

Aagya Chakra activation means forming perfect balance of spiritualism and materialism in one’s life and acquiring all spiritual and material accomplishments.

Aagya Chakra has been described to be in the form of Third Eye of Shiva, situated in a vertical position between the two eyebrows. On one side of this subtle eye are eighteen points of materialism and on the other side are eighteen points of spiritualism. The points representing various attainments are as follows.

Material Points

1. Comforts
2. Prosperity
3. Pleasures
4. Luck
5. Ras (art, music, singing)
6. Tripti (delicious food)
7. Delight
8. Madhurya (desired success in Sadhanas)
9. Nirjhar (progress in life)
10. Devatva (an attractive physical personality)
11. Shree (wealth)
12. Kaam (sexual pleasures, a good spouse)
13. Fame, good position, respect
14. Pushti (strength)
15. Tushti (contentment)
16. Shanti (peace)
17. Aoudarya (charity)

18. Leadership

Spiritual Points
1. Pity, kindness
2. Motherly affection
3. Love
4. Cordiality
5. Joy
6. Yog Vibhuti (accomplishment of eighteen Siddhis)
7. Unattachment
8. Deh Siddhi (accomplishment of Siddhis like flying in sky etc)
9. Thoughtless mind
10. Salvation
11. Eternal youth
12. Dhyan (Meditation)
13. Dharna (retaining Spiritual Powers)
14. Samadhi (trance)
15. Enlightenment
16. Maitri (friendship)
17. Aagya Chakra Jagran (Activation of Third Eye)
18. Kundalini Jagran (awakening of Kundalini)

The only way to activate all these 36 points or virtues is Diksha. And the Guru solves the various problems in the lives of disciples by touching the 36 respective points.

These virtues have been elucidated in ancient texts and their relevance remains as such even today, for the basic format of the society is same to this clay. A human being does not achieve totality in life without activating all these virtues in himself.

Lord Krishna adopted the method of Raas, the divine dance in which he concentrated his celestial

Powers on the Aagya Chakras of the participants and thus initiated them onto the path of Spiritualism.

And 2500 years after him Lord Buddha carried out the same transfer of energy through a different method of religious transformation.

The magnetism which has been vividly described to be present in the eyes of Lord Krishna and Buddha

was due to this unceasing flow of divine energy through their eyes and thus both these great personalities were

worshipped as Gods ... but unfortunately only after they had left their physical forms.

History Repeats Itself

Today Reverend Gurudev is doing the same thing through the medium of Shaktipaat (transfer of divine energy through physical contact, casting a glance or just by thought). And we cannot realise the degree of tiring effort this process involves for we have not yet been spiritually enlightened.

Another centre of enlightenment in a human body is his navel which has been called Arnrit Kund or the lake of elixir. And in such great men this centre too is full activated and enlivened.

When a person comes before a Sadguru with a special desire or problem the Guru Initiates a flow of this elixir in form of energy, from his navel to his eyes and onto the Aagya Chakra. The Guru knows on which point to concentrate the divine powers so as to fulfil the desire or solve problems of the person.

This is a very difficult and intricate practice of Yoga and hence it is called the divine Leela (play) of God. The Guru being selfless withdraws all poison from the soul and body of a disciple into himself and instils into him divine elixir-like energy.

This is why Aagya Chakra is called the Third Eye of Shiva. Just as Lord Shiva saved all Gods by drinking poison at time of churning of the ocean, I similarly Gurudev keeps drinking the poison with-drawn from the disciples in order to raise them to higher spiritual and material planes, and in order to fill them with his divine powers.

The Guru taps into the disciple's mind and withdraws from it all negative thoughts related to problems, anxieties, and ups and downs of life. Then in their place he instils courage, intelligence and clairvoyance so that he could be successful in all endeavours in the future.

He activates the subtle points in the Third Eye related to material and spiritual accomplishments, and in a moment transforms a mediocre human into a highly intelligent and enlightened being, who is able to overcome all obstacles and problems in life, defeat all adversaries and rise to the top most rungs of success in whichever field he desires.

Such then is the great power of a Spiritual Master that can raise the state of one's existence in a second from the mire of difficulties, afflictions and anxieties to the supreme state of fame and glory.

Shambhavi Diksha

The powers of Yoga possess infinite capabilities and it is only through the kindness of a Guru that one attains these amazing powers.

But today people have subjected Yogic energy more to misuse, which according to the ancient scriptures is totally forbidden. This is why most of the accomplished Yogis avoid demonstrating their skills, even when people criticize them and say that they know nothing.

Adi Shankaracharya was an ascetic possessing immense powers of Yoga and Sadhana. From his early years he had nurtured an ambition to reach highest levels in the field of Sadhanas and hence he had accepted asceticism at a very small age.

When his Guru gave him Diksha he was given the name Shankaracharya. At that moment the Guru said,

"May you reach the stage of obtaining Shambhavi Diksha so that further way to spirituality opens up before you."

Shankaracharya progressed fast on the path of Sadhanas and attained several Siddhis, but he specially wished to accomplish two Sadhanas namely: Akash Gaman Siddhi (flying in the air) and Parkaya Pravesh Siddhi (entering one's soul into another person's body). When he did not achieve success in the beginning he started Sadhana of Lord Shiva.

Guru - The Foremost Deity

For six months Shankaracharya remained engrossed in Shiva Sadhana without consuming even one grain of food, living solely on water. One day in his dream he saw Lord Shiva in an ascetic form saying "For attaining these Siddhis not my worship, but performance of Guru Sadhana is necessary."

With Lord Shiva was his consort Goddess Parvati who showering her motherly affection on the child, Shankar, said, "Your Guru is a highly accomplished Yogi. He may not have exhibited his powers before anyone till today, for great Yogis never believe in demonstrations or producing miracles, for this is the work of jugglers.

"Your Guru is surely a Yogi accomplished in high level Sadhanas. For obtaining Shambhavi Diksha it is necessary that you engross yourself totally in service of the Guru.

"In Shambhavi Diksha there is no particular test which a disciple has to pass. It is a method of forming a deep, firm link between a Guru and a disciple. To obtain this Diksha there is no particular Mantra or Sadhana procedure. It is a result of kindness of the Guru that he gives this Diksha to a disciple.

"Shambhavi Diksha means that the Guru transfers into his disciple some of his divine Sadhana- Siddhi energy, so that he attains spiritual enlightenment, so that his whole body becomes capable o accomplishing high level Sadhanas.

"For accomplishing Sadhanas it is first necessary that the inner conscience of the Sadhak is awakened. A Sadhak or disciple cannot activate his conscience, his vital energy himself.

"For burning a pile of rubbish a spark is needed and the spark is produced by rubbing a piece of flint on a rock. The rock by itself cannot produce a spark. Similarly a spark is required to burn down the pile of sins which have accumulated in a disciple over a period of several lives. The disciple cannot produce this spark himself and for this a piece of flint is required which contains fire inside.

"You are like a small stone and your Guru is a personality filled with powerful divine energy. You have to try and come into contact with him.

"Remember, that the ocean never flows to a river rather it is the river that moves towards the immense ocean and merges into its vastness. An ocean is called God and on mixing with it, a small river attains the Godliness of Sharnbhav, that is the ocean.

"You too have to become immense as a Shambhav and for that you shall have to obtain Shambhavi Diksha.

"And the only way to obtain Shambhavi Diksha is by serving the Guru by words, actions and thoughts. A disciple who wishes to obtain this Diksha offers all his possessions, his feelings, his body in feet of the Guru and he cannot even bear the thought of separation from the Guru. He cannot believe that he can exist without the presence of the Guru in his life.

"And on being separated from the Guru he becomes perturbed as a small child does on being separated from his mother. He always remains engrossed in fulfilling desires of the Guru; and without any selfish thoughts, without showing off he devotes himself in feet of the Guru. This is true devotion for the Guru.

"A Guru is incomparable. He outwardly remains oblivious but in reality he knows about all the actions and thoughts of a disciple. His greatness lies in his simplicity. Every moment he keeps a strict vigil on each of his disciples and keeps evaluating his thoughts and his actions.

"He knows how much the disciple is dedicated to the service of the Guru, how much he is devoted in the Guru's feet and how fast he is fusing his own soul with that of the Guru.

"And when the Guru sees that the disciple has become totally engrossed in Guru Sadhana giving up all other Sadhanas, worships and prayers, when he feels that words of the Guru are the only Mantras for the disciple; when the service to the Guru has become his only worship; when satisfying the Guru has become his only ambition then the Guru gives Shambhavi Diksha to the disciple."

Best Of All Boons

Ma Parvati continued - "Shambhavi Diksha means that the Guru blesses the disciple so that he enters into the field of high level Sadhanas and achieves success in them. While giving Diksha the Guru from his own source of divine energy, obtained through severe penance, instils some energy into the disciple. Hence only an accomplished and capable Guru can initiate a disciple through Shambhavi Diksha. An incapable Guru cannot do so.
“Totality of Shambhavi Diksha is attained with the help of 'Guru Mouktik Mala', a special rosary each bead of which is made siddh (consecrated and enlivened) with the help of special Mantras.

“There are 108 beads and 216 knots in this rosary. On each bead and each knot a special Sadhana

practice is accomplished and thus the whole rosary is energised. Hence in a single rosary a total of 324 special Siddhis (divine accomplishments) form a confluence.

“On each bead the whole worship procedure of a Sadhana is accomplished and the special powers of Siddhis is instilled. Through this long difficult process the rosary is made immensely potent. This is why this rosary is considered most rare in the whole world.

“The Guru himself wears this rosary next to his heart for three days to instil into it the spiritual radiance emanating from his body. The main bead of the rosary, called Sumeru, is made Siddh with powers of the ten Mahavidyas (the ten most divine and Powerful Goddesses).

"The disciple who obtains such a rosary from the Guru feels himself to be the richest and most capable person in the whole world. He feels as if he has discovered the biggest treasure of the world, for he obtains several Siddhis (divine accomplishments) autornatically on receiving this rosary.

"He experiences new changes occurring in his body, his life, his personality. His physique gains a well moulded dynamic look and a golden radiance, and even his voice becomes magnetic. Whatever he says turns out to be true. Several times strange Mantras and Shloks (Sanskrit verses) spurt from his mouth on their own. And all the people are drawn towards his magnetic personality.

"Thus the disciple moves forward with full force and speed on the path of Sadhanas, and the Sadhanas which he would have obtained in a hundred years are achieved by him within a year."

Having spoken these words Mother Parvati placed her hand lovingly on the head of the child, Shankar, and blessed him saying -

"May you attain the glory of Shiva and may you attain all the divine powers. May you attain the powers of Shiva and Shakti; for it is only through the confluence of these two that you can achieve uniqueness in life. And only a Guru can bestow you with their confluence. I bless you and may you achieve success in your aim and may you become the greatest personality of this age." And speaking these words Mother Parvati and Lord Shiva disappeared.

Shankaracharya woke up with a start and became delighted on remembering his dream. He had been directed to the right path and his goal was now clear before him. The words of Shiva and Parvati could not be false. They had said that totality of life specially in field of Sadhanas can be achieved only through service to the Guru, through Shambhavi Diksha and through total devotion and faith in the Guru.

And the coming ages have been a witness to it that after obtaining this Diksha Shankaracharya rose to the highest planes of spiritual attainment and went on to become the most dynamic religious leader of all times.

Boons Of Various Initiations

Diksha is a boon obtained only from a Guru. When the Guru becomes pleased by the services and the devotion of a disciple, he initiates the disciple in Sadhanas. Diksha can be obtained only through the Guru's kindness. It is in fact a method to transform one's life and to instil into it all attainments of material and spiritual life.

The special feature of a Diksha is that on acquiring it one need not involve oneself in the intricacies of Sadhanas.

The reason for this is that while giving Diksha the Guru transfers a part of his Sadhana powers into the disciple thus instilling into him a capability to attain success in the task for which the Diksha is being given. The path of Sadhanas is very complex and strenuous, hence through Diksha the Guru spiritually enlightens a disciple.

There are several disciples who have attained success in Sadhanas, Siddhis and even in material Life with the help of Dikshas. Following are some instances.

Asht Lakshmi Diksha (for wealth)

I had been facing a financial crisis for the past several years and though I had a business it seemed to have come to a complete standstill. I had become very disheartened and anxious, when one day I decided to see Gurudev. I went to Delhi and met the Master. Hearing my problems he advised me to obtain Asht Lakshmi Diksha. Lakshmi as all know is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity.

Within fifteen days of obtaining Diksha there appeared an amazing change in my financial status. A large amount of money which had been diverted to useless ventures was recovered and soon my business started flourishing. I am ever grateful to Gurudev for his kindness.

Manokamna Poorti Diksha (for fulfilment of all desires)

I had obtained Guru Diksha and several other Dikshas from Gurudev but I myself had never prayed before him for any particular Diksha. But Gurudev easily comes to know of the thoughts of a person and he blesses the person according to feelings he has nurtured in his heart. One day when I came to meet him he asked me quite unexpectedly to wear the Diksha attire. I was amazed at the sudden command of Gurudev, but obeyed him without asking anything. Along with several other disciples I received the special Diksha.

Later I asked Gurudev which Diksha he had given me. On much persuasion he told that he had given me Manokarnna Poorti Diksha for fulfilment of all desires.

I was taken aback for there surely were some special desires which I wished to get fulfilled. I had never revealed my wishes before Gurudev but somehow he had come to know about them and had given me this Diksha. Today all my wishes have been fulfilled due to the benevolence of Gurudev.

Tanaav Mukti Diksha (for riddance from tensions)

For the past few months I had been undergoing a lot of tensions due to some problems in my business. In the one-day Sadhana camps organised in Bombay from time to time, I got a chance to be in Gurudev's company but I refrained from putting my problem before him, thinking it to be a petty matter.

The last time when Gurudev came to Bombay I humbly invited him to my house and he very kindly accepted. Gurudev and Mataji arrived at my house.

Gurudev in particular was in a very happy mood that day and he told me to ask any thing of him. I hesitated and seeing me in a dilemma Mataji whispered something into Gurudev's ear. Gurudev looked at me and said, "From this very moment onwards you won't face any problem in your business. I have given the related Diksha to you."

And it is a fact that from that day onwards my business prospered as never before and all my tensions were vanquished forever.

Amazing are the ways of Gurudev for he can give Diksha by just looking at a person, without letting him know that he has instilled his divine powers into the other's body and soul.

Gurudev, with reverence I bow down in your feet.

After graduating in Arts I decided to start my own business, but I faced financial problems as I myself did not have the required amount. Even my parents were not affluent enough to help me.

I had been meeting Gurudev for the past three years and from the very beginning I was very much attracted towards Yakshini Sadhanas, which involve propitiating demi-goddesses who can bestow infinite wealth on a person.

I had performed Yakshini Sadhana several times, but I felt that there seemed to be some shortcoming due to which I could not attain success

29 Activation Of Third Eye
A few months after, Gurudev started giving special Dikshas and I prayed to him to bless me with Yakshini Diksha. And, when I performed Sadhana after obtaining the Diksha I attained success in my very first attempt. Soon my financial problem was solved and I was able to embark on my business venture.

Sarva Sadhana Siddhi Diksha (for success in all Sadhanas)

I performed Guru Sadhana and then revealed a special desire before Gurudev. I was not sure which Diksha I should obtain but on hearing my wish Gurudev asked me to obtain Sarva Sadhana Siddhi Diksha for success in all Sadhanas.

I had only wished to attain success in a few Sadhanas, but so kind is Gurudev that he opened the doors to all Sadhanas for me.

I felt that the obstacles which I had been facing in accomplishment of the Sadhanas were removed and soon I started to have unique experiences in this field.

After having obtained the Diksha, I accomplished a number of Sadhanas and amazingly in each one of them I atained perfection and success. I felt that my concentration had increased several folds and no amount of disturbance could distract my attention. Thus I concluded all practices without any hindrance.

Today I have all that I could have asked for by virtue of the Sadhanas that I successfully accomplished. The real credit of this success of course goes to Gurudev, who very kindly gave me the key to all Siddhis.

Kundalini Jagran Diksha (for total spiritual enlightenment)

I had obtained several Dikshas but true mental peace which I wished for seemed to evade me. I was not able to meditate deeply and at all times there seemed to be a pain in my whole body especially the knees. I took medical treatment but in vain.

One day I decided to chant the Guru Mantra as much as I could. I started the recitation that very day and in a few days completed one lac twenty-five thousand chantings. After this I contacted Gurudev on phone and sought permission to meet him.

When I met Gurudev he said that I should take Kundalini Jagran Diksha, for awakening of the Kundalini Shakti. Hence in Oct-93 I obtained this special Diksha from him.

Within six months all my health problems were eliminated and soon I found that I could go into deep meditation. Thus I achieved true peace of mind with the grace of Gurudev.

All these amazing experiences invariably point out to the fact that Sadhana without Diksha is Simply impossible. In fact life which can be obtained only in the company of a truly enlightened Master.

A real Spiritual Guru perfectly knows all about the past, Present and future of a disciple or a Sadhak. He knows what is best for one and accordingly he gives Diksha. If one is facing poverty, the Guru assumes the duty of banishing all scarcities from one’s life and initiates a person in a Diksha which brings riches, affluence and all luxuries.

If one is suffering from ailments and diseases the Guru gives a Diksha which ends all physical afflictions and makes one strong and healthy. Similarly if one is not able to make up one’s mind as to which trade or occupation to follow the Guru grants the relevant Diksha and at last it dawns upon the person’s mind in which field sure success and fame await him. A good life partner, a happy married life, children, victory over enemies, success in trade, good health – everything that one can think of can be obtained through the medium of Dikshas.

Such is the power of these divine initiations that there remains nothing lacking in one’s life. One makes progress in whichever sphere one desires be it material or spiritual. With the blessings of a Guru thus nothing remains impossible in one’s life.

...An activated Third Eye is the most coruscating jewel of one's life.

Diksha is the flambeau that dispels the overpowering and disillusionment instilling darkness of ignorance. It is the magic wand wielded only by few highly enlightened Masters that in an instant raises one from the depths of misery to the heights of glory....
